Grange 2010, Penfolds

Australia’s most famous wine, Penfolds Grange was inaugurated in 1951, and is made from ripe Shiraz grapes sourced from selected vineyards in South Australia, fermented and aged in new oak barrels. It is powerful, concentrated and densely-textured, with the ability to age for decades. By varying the proportions from different vineyard origins from year to year, vintage variation can be compensated for, which is why a Grange has been produced every single year since its inception. It is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia.
