The Sigalas Santorini Assyrtiko has a fabulous scent of preserved lemons, rockpools and crushed oyster shells, opening up to pineapple, peach, honeysuckle and buttery toffee. On the palate, there’s lovely, supple, enveloping roundness, perfect harmony of freshness and substance, and fabulous fruit intensity. Amazing to drink now, this fine white wine will also reward cellaring.
