Grand Cru Riesling ‘Mandelpfad’ GG 2019, Knipser

This is a generous, rounded, rich expression of Riesling – dry, yet gentle and creamy in texture. The aromas are complex, with honeycomb, beeswax and vanilla bean alongside fruit tree blossom, passion fruit and pineapple. In the mouth, it is full and rich, with layers of texture, beautiful filigree structure and a fine, long finish. The Mandelpfad (Almond Path) Grosses Gewächs (Grand Cru) is from the a select portion known as ‘Himmelsrech’ (Heaven) of a particularly warm, sheltered vineyard site.
