Côte de Beaune Blanc 2018, Joseph Drouhin

This fabulous white comes from the slopes overlooking the town of Beaune, including the famous Premier Cru, Clos des Mouches. It has a succulent, sumptuous and irresistibly gorgeous personality, with lavish aromas of buttered toast and honey. Full-bodied, ripe and rich on the palate, and has much of the character of Clos des Mouches – at one-third of the price. Absolutely delicious now, this should continue to drink well for at least another 2-3 years.
