Clos de Vougeot is a large Grand Cru (50 hectares), located between Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. Joseph Drouhin owns two parcels totalling just under one hectare of this mythical vineyard, both on a mild incline and facing due east. The wine’s intense aromas evoke raspberry and wild cherry, becoming more complex with age: undergrowth, truffle, candied fruit. A sublime structure, with refined tannins.
