By law, VSOP Armagnac must be aged for a minimum of four years. In a relentless pursuit of quality, Castarède’s VSOP is in fact matured for eight, making it closer to an XO. This amber-coloured marvel has notes of walnut, plum crumble, coconut and honey on the nose, and is warming, subtle and balanced in the mouth.
