Deep colour. Pure and expressive nose, with a fresh fragrance of sweet spices and forest fruits. Particularly prominent are scents of blackberry, black plum and wild strawberry, mixed with a creamy note, and an undertone of aromatic sandalwood. On the palate, the first impression is its soft, velvety texture and generousity of flavour, making it even more succulent and enjoyable. It has fine tannins and balanced acidity, which enhance its long-lasting finish. This is a limited-edition collector’s release, reflecting the history and progression of Abadía Retuerta’s ‘Pago’ (single-vineyard) wines. It is a testimony to the estate’s dedication to superb winemaking, from a unique and historic terroir.
