LR 2019, Colterenzio ‘Classici’

Named for Luis Raifer, President and CEO of Colterenzio for many years, whose work did much to advance the wines of Alto Adige, LR is an exclusive, distinctive, terroir-driven wine, crafted to excite the most discerning and demanding of palates. Fruit from carefully-selected vineyards between 400m and 500m elevation in the vicinity of Cornaiano is pressed gently, fermented and then aged in oak barrels. It is always bottle-aged for a minimum of 12 months before release. Presenting alluring aromas of tropical fruits, it is both full-bodied and precise, with a long, refined finish. This cuvée of the choicest Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc is capable of ageing 8-10 years.
