Viognier – Marsanne ‘Marsannier’ 2017, Knipser

This is amazing. A complementary fusion of Viognier and Marsanne, it has a rich, golden colour and an exquisite, complex nose of toffee apple, candied apricot, nectarine, fragrant cedar, toasted cinnamon and a hint of flint. Take a sip, and you immediately want another – it’s that gorgeous. Refined, rounded, impeccably balanced and satisfying, it is in such a good place that it really must enjoyed now or over the next 2-3 years. It may well last longer than this, but you wouldn’t want to miss the utter deliciousness that it has right now. Such an irresistible, perfectly-balanced wine. Wow!
