Grapes for ‘The Red’ are only grown in the Rondekop vineyard unirrigated vines. Matured in 100% new oak barrels for 24 months before release. Aromas of ripe cassis, spice, red berries, toasted oak, vanillin and hints of savoury leather on the nose, a structured body of tannins and acidity with layers of cassis fruit.
