Palpo Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2023, Kir-Yianni

This refined, single-vineyard Chardonnay from the high-altitude Amyndeon region of northern Greece could easily be from one of the better sites in Burgundy’s Chassagne-Montrachet. It shows complex citrus and white flower aromas, alongside nuances of brioche, toasted bread and vanilla. The rich aromatic character and the balanced, beautifully-textured palate make for a delicious wine to enjoy now, or to develop with age for 6-7 years. The execution is impeccable – really masterfully done.
