Organic Rosé Garnacha 2022, Embrujo del Campo

With a bouquet of roses, tangy citrus, redcurrant and watermelon on the nose and a bowlful of fresh strawberries, raspberries and red apple on the palate, this subtle pink wine is an absolute gem from visionary winemaker, Elias Lopez. Grapes are organically farmed and grown with great care on ancient limestone soils at 700m altitude in the Tomelloso subregion of Castilla la Mancha. Vines are trained on trellis to allow adequate airflow and sunlight to develop prefectly-ripened fruit, without the need for pesticides. Embrujo del Campo means ‘enchantment of the countryside,’ and Elias’s wines are certainly enchanting.
