Fleurie Poncereau is fruity as well as floral.
It is mellow and elegant but also a racy wine.
It has a silky texture and finesse.
Full, ripe red fruits are balanced by a supple freshness and acidity on the palate with a long finish.
The Fleurie ‘Poncereau’ is vinified like all the wines from this region: semi-carbonic maceration of uncrushed grape clusters with pumping over of the cap. It is then aged in oak barrels for 8-10 months before bottling.
