This has a surprising level of complexity, with an iron-like ‘mineral’ character behind the fruit, spice and herb elements. Perfect companions, Tempranillo provides aromatic lift and a textural element to the soft richness of the Shiraz. There is no new oak here, to allow the fruit to really sing.
