Scrumptious nose of baked Bramley apples, spiced with a hint of star anise. Nuances of cream and baking bread. Greengage fruit and honey on the palate; a touch of fresh herbs, and more than a suggestion of minerality. Excellent balance between brisk acidity and creamy texture. This is a really terrific Champagne from a small producer that is more than a match for more expensive, famous, brands.
