Canon du Marechal Rosé 2022, Domaine Cazes

A Provence-style organic and biodynamic rosé with a pale salmon-pink colour and a lovely, soft, silky texture. It has lip-smacking aromas and flavours that bring to mind strawberries and cream. The Roussillon estate, Domaine Cazes, is one of the pioneers of biodynamics, having been run entirely this way for 25 years. According to Emmanuel Cazes, the family did not launch into this approach commercial reasons, but simply to work with nature so that the vineyards would be expressed in the wines, and would continue to thrive sustainably for future generations.
