Barolo Mosconi Organic 2009, E. Pira

The 2009 E. Pira Barolo ‘Mosconi’ is is an utterly beautiful wine, and comes highly recommended. Mature in the best possible way, it is refined, balanced, elegant, complex and beautifully pure – one that has definitely aged gracefully. There is a pure, fragrant fennel seed character on the finish, which sets it apart as distinctively Italian, and means it would pair beautifully with the cuisine of northern Italy. Bravissimo!
