Atlantico Sur Tannat 2023 Juanico

Brought to Uruguay by Basque settlers, Tannat has proved a huge success in its temperate, maritime climate, becoming the nation’s signature variety. This wine has fresh notes of both red and black fruit – strawberry, cherry and raspberry, as well as blackberry, plum, blueberry are discernible – followed by hints of roses, violets, and fresh herbs. Ample-textured on the palate, the fruit-forward sensation and elegant freshness lead into a mineral-infused finish.
