Deep ruby in colour, this Riserva Chianti is fruity and spicy on the nose, showing aromas of fresh red fruit - especially cherries - with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with juicy fruit notes, soft tannins and a long, lingering finish.

Winemaking
Grapes were gently crushed, pressed and then macerated on skins for between 8-10 days.The juice was fermented at a controlled temperature of 27-28°C with frequent and gentle pumping over, extracting a good amount of colour and tannin & giving the wine great structure. After fermentation, the wine was left to undergo malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged in a mixture of French and American oak barrels for 10 months.
