Winemaker Jérôme Regues blends two different terroirs to make this wine; a typical Corbières red blend. Grapes from Ornaisons provide the rich fruit flavours, while grapes from Durban, around 25km further south, are said to add spicier notes. Showing notes of damsons and blackberries on the nose, with subtle hints of garrigue herbs, which carry through on the palate. Full and fruity, with rounded tannins adding a supporting structure. Perfect with your home-made shepherd’s pie or a cheese board.
