Don Maximiano Errázuriz founded Viña Errázuriz in 1870 in the Valle de Aconcagua, 100 kms north of the capital city, Santiago. He realised that the cool, rainy winters and hot, dry summers combined with Pacific breezes to make it an ideal area to grow grapes. An attractive colour with an aromatic nose of cherries, floral notes and a touch of mint. The fresh palate displays fruit that is well-balanced by smoky nuances from the oak ageing. A smooth, silky mouthfeel make this an excellent partner to roast pork, turkey or fillet of salmon.
