Bordeaux style, produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This is then aged for 12 months in French oak to help integration and impart extra complexities and texture. Aromas of fruitcake and spice, with red and black fruits on the textured palate and the oak-ageing lending hints of cigar box. A balanced structure and good length. Goes extremely well with beef, lamb and strong cheeses.
